Run a campus media startup from day one.
Hatke Bol gives every school, college and university its own student-run newspaper, magazine or blog. You don't write for a campus magazine. You run the company that powers hundreds of them. Institutes pay a yearly plan; you sell it, grow it and earn from it.

Every campus deserves a newsroom.
India has over 14 lakh schools and more than 40,000 colleges. Most publish one printed magazine a year. Hatke Bol turns that into a weekly digital publication that students run and faculty approve, with an archive that outlives every batch. "Hatke Bol" is Hindi for "speak differently".
The problem
Annual magazines cost lakhs to print, arrive late and vanish when the batch graduates. Students who want to write, shoot or design have no regular outlet.
Who buys it
Principals, directors, media-cell heads and accreditation teams who want safe student publishing and a living archive at hatkebol.com/<their-campus>.
How it earns
Institutes pay a yearly plan, invoiced by STARTIONS LLP: Standard (a weekly edition), Premium (daily) or Ultra Premium (unlimited, with Events, LMS, own payment gateways and CRM). A 14-day free trial on every plan.
Built for students who want a career in media.
Journalism, mass communication, design or content creation: this is where that interest becomes a business you run.
Editions a year, per campus
Even Standard publishes every week: content, readers and a reason to renew.
Story types
News, viral lists, polls, quizzes, video, photo stories, columns, interviews, live blogs and more.
National network
The best campus stories from opted-in newsrooms run on hatkebol.com/network. You curate them.
si, your mentor
Startup Intelligence guides you on calls, targets and growth, around the clock.

Added to make Hatke Bol earn
Instant newsroom preview
A principal types the institute's name, type and city at hatkebol.com/try and sees their own front page in seconds, then starts the trial with it filled in.
Admissions Desk
An "Enquire about admissions" box on every newsroom page. Enquiries go to the institute, privately, and count in its Value Report.
Value Report
Editions, stories, readers, votes, subscribers, contributors, enquiries and the money saved against a printed magazine. Printable for management, and the reason they renew.
Upsell radar
Newsrooms that hit a cap, trials ending in 7 days and newsrooms gone quiet for 14 days, so Sales calls the right campus at the right time.
Refer a campus
"Made with Hatke Bol · Want one for your campus?" on every newsroom page; each callback reaches Sales with the newsroom that referred it.
Network and Story of the Week
Desk editors nominate stories; Marketing features the best on hatkebol.com/network, national visibility for students and a showcase for new institutes.
Campus Press leaderboard
The month's most-read featured stories and newsrooms, ranked from counts only: the seed of the yearly Campus Press Awards.
Coming soon

- Partners and channels: school groups, college associations, education events
- Quarterly pivot options from the strategy review, and the cheapest test for each
- The instant preview funnel at hatkebol.com/try
Students never create institutes, change plans or read what an institute's people write privately: institutes sign up on hatkebol.com, every plan change comes from a verified payment, and Nirmata shows students counts only, never a reader, subscriber, comment, admissions enquiry or student name.
Three yearly plans, one for every campus.
- 1 edition a week, on Edition Day
- Per edition: 10 news, 3 lists, 2 polls, 1 quiz, 5 blogs, 2 videos
- 3 desks, 1 faculty adviser, 15 team logins
- Newspaper or blog, 3 themes, 1 language besides English
- Archive of the last 12 months, views, Value Report

- 10 desks, 5 advisers, 60 team logins
- + magazine and print-ready e-paper, all 8 themes, live blog, read-aloud
- Edition email (2,000 contacts), Admissions Desk, sponsor slots, NAAC/NIRF export, Events
- Unlimited editions and single stories any time
- No caps on stories, desks, advisers or logins
- All 12 languages, unlimited edition email

- Events, LMS, own payment gateways and CRM modules
Prices as set for Hatke Bol today, still to be confirmed; schools, colleges and universities pay the same. Caps are checked when a story joins an edition and when it publishes, never while drafting, so students never lose work. Founders and Co-Founders edit packages, and every change is audit-logged.

Seats and yearly fees by startup type, with the readiness discount
| Startup type | Founders | Co-Founders | Teammates | Startup Learners | Seats | All seats, a year |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Yearly seat fee | ₹60,526 | ₹48,421 | ₹24,207 | ₹12,100 | ||
| Level | Post-graduate level | Post-graduate level | College level, Std 11 to 15 (up to graduation) | School level, Std 8 to 10 | ||
| With readiness, 30% off, incl. GST | ₹49,995 | ₹39,995 | ₹19,995 | ₹9,995 | ||
| Amoox (Solo) | 1 | — | — | 4 | 5 | ₹60,500 |
| Jyoox (Solo) | 1 | — | — | 4 | 5 | ₹72,607 |
| Micro | 1 | 2 | 2 | 4 | 9 | ₹2,54,182 |
| Mini | 2 | 4 | 4 | 8 | 18 | ₹5,08,364 |
| Major This one | 3 | 6 | 6 | 12 | 27 | ₹7,62,546 |
| Mega | 4 | 8 | 8 | 16 | 36 | ₹10,16,728 |
Fees in INR, the same for every type except the Solo Founder seat (₹12,100 on Amoox, ₹24,207 on Jyoox), plus 18% GST. Seat fees are STARTIONS' income, not the startup's revenue. Each student chooses manual or automatic yearly renewal.
- Founder 80–100
- Co-Founder 60–79
- Teammate 40–59
- Startup Learner 0–39
Clear the readiness test, get 30% off your seat.
Take the free Startions Readiness Score test: ten questions, about three minutes. Your score places you at a level, from Startup Learner up to Founder. If your level matches the role you apply for, or is higher, you get a flat 30% discount on that role's annual seat fee.
| Your score | 30% off these seats (price with GST) |
|---|---|
| 80–100 · Founder level | Founder ₹49,995, Co-Founder ₹39,995, Teammate ₹19,995, Startup Learner ₹9,995 |
| 60–79 · Co-Founder level | Co-Founder ₹39,995, Teammate ₹19,995, Startup Learner ₹9,995 |
| 40–59 · Teammate level | Teammate ₹19,995, Startup Learner ₹9,995 |
| 0–39 · Startup Learner level | Startup Learner ₹9,995 |
For example, a score of 65 is Co-Founder level: you get 30% off a Co-Founder, Teammate or Startup Learner seat, but not a Founder seat. A score at Teammate level gets 30% off a Teammate or Startup Learner seat only. Discounted fees shown are a year, before 18% GST. Your best result of the last 30 days counts, one result discounts one seat, and that seat keeps the discount every year you renew it. Your first attempt is free, and you can retake the test up to five times.
What a seat could pay back.
Move the sliders. Institutes' yearly plans are Hatke Bol's revenue (ex-GST). Approved costs come off; a tax reserve is kept aside; the rest is net profit, split into the role pools and shared by performance score; shown here at equal scores.
Plans: Standard ₹4,995 / Premium ₹9,995 / Ultra Premium ₹19,995 a year, ex-GST, as set in Nirmata today. Revenue counts in the month it is paid. Each role's pool is split among its seats by performance score. Figures assume every seat is filled and everyone scores the same; a higher score pays more, a lower score less, and a role with fewer students pays each of them more. Paid once a year, after 31 March, with TDS deducted. A loss is not paid out and carries forward.

Quick answers.
Do I need to know coding or journalism?
No. STARTIONS builds and supports the product. You sell, market and grow it. An interest in media helps.
Who are the customers?
Schools, colleges and universities, on a yearly Hatke Bol plan after a 14-day free trial.
Do I handle customer payments?
No. Institutes pay through the hatkebol.com checkout, STARTIONS collects plan payments and STARTIONS LLP issues the GST invoice. A plan changes only when a verified payment arrives.
Can I read institutes' stories, readers or admissions enquiries?
No. Students see counts in Nirmata, never a reader, subscriber, comment, admissions enquiry or student name. Published stories are public on the newsrooms themselves, like any newspaper.
Is it safe for schools?
Yes. School safety mode is always on for schools: comments off, the faculty adviser approves every story, and a student's name appears only with consent.
How much time does it take?
It depends on your role and department. The weekly time for each role is confirmed on the clarity call.
When does Hatke Bol launch?
The launch date is confirmed on the clarity call. Profit share is open only to those who join before it.
What is the readiness discount?
Take the Startions Readiness Score test: if your level matches the role you apply for, or a higher one, you get 30% off that role's yearly seat fee (see the seat table above).
Is income guaranteed?
No. The calculator is an illustration from the numbers you set. Results depend on the institutes your team signs and keeps.
